This site is kept free of hate, fear, greed, envy, anger, alcohol and drugs.

If you arrived here with any of those on board, I invite you to read my quiet pages to help you release some of the tension and pent-up stress that life in our rainbow land seems to go hand-in-hand with.

My homepage is intended to be a happy place for everyone, and I have been advised that some content is not suitable for young children.

Parents, before continuing, please read this NOW.

Anybody out there, please feel free to be frank with me about the content and ideas I have included here. I appreciate the feedback and welcome the opportunity to exchange points of view with others. That's how we learn – from each other.

The others with whom I share my space, Rachel and Buddy are part of my extended family, which already consists of five offspring:-
Barbie (married to Craig; they have produced two wonderful grandsons, Shannon and Jesse)
Paul (presently busy doing an MBA)
Dylan (who likes being his own boss)
and
the twins, Marc and Megan (with six minutes and twelve inches separating them!).

Lissa is the friend primarily responsible for pushing me to take my original project beyond the discussion stage, and assisting Kerrybekkie with some design advice has also aided my learning curve.

Unfortunately, not all of my friends are on the 'Net, but I have provided links to many who are. I have also dedicated space to cherished memories of a very special friend and teacher.

I am often referred to as Peter B - I and I enjoy the 'Net tremendously. If you spot anything that I could do to make navigating my site easier, please drop me a line. I am always willing to learn.

Have a look at my work history while you're here; perhaps I can be of assistance to you in some area. And I have been busy at some other sites as well, even being credited at one.

Speaking of credits ... please remember to visit the people and organisations which have honoured this site with their much appreciated awards, before you leave this sunny spot.

Chief amongst my pleasures in life is sharing knowledge with anybody who wishes to make the effort to acquire it. The others are less public-spirited, mainly reading many books, a varied taste in music, artists and albums, and a yen for learning about new and interesting ideas.

Nowadays I live in Egoli, situated in the region known as Gauteng. It is on the Highveld, ±6,600 feet above sea level, and is the economic heartbeat of South Africa.

Ek het my vroeë kinderdae in verre Wankie deurgebring. Dit was jare gelede, maar ek verlang nog na die snikhitte van daardie dae. Deesdae is ek in Johannesburg woonagtig.

I enjoy doing the odd bit of writing, as the urge takes me. Some days are better than others. Life is not always a bowl of cherries, no matter how positively I try to live it. But I am heartened by the fact that I am not the only one with problems.

You may have noticed that I do have a sense of humour, and I really do enjoy a lot of the chuckles with which the Web is littered. I don't appreciate practical jokers, though.

The first award my site received was a very pleasant surprise and left me quite proud. On your way out why not pay a visit to the artist responsible for its stunning graphic and many others too.

Pull up a chair and a coffee or a soft drink (they don't cause babbelaas, requiring a double regmaker); make yourself comfortable . . . and enjoy the visit . . .

Please don't forget to sign my guestbook, before you go, where you'll see a piece of LadyHawk's fantastic artwork.
